Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunity at the University of Arkansas - Department of Mechanical Engineering9/20/2023 The department is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research in engineering design with a focus on engineering and design cognition and design teams in collaboration with Dr. Jenn Campbell. This position is expected to advance our understanding of how engineers think about ill-structured, complex problems and how team dynamics impact the engineering design process with implications for social and environmental sustainability. In addition, this position is expected to develop new research directions, collaborate on the preparation of proposals to secure external funding for research and commercialization of research, prepare journal and conference papers, and mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers. The College of Engineering is dedicated to building and supporting a culturally diverse and pluralistic faculty, staff, and administration committed to teaching and working in an inclusive environment.
