The Engineers Connect app is a resource that was created for anyone interested in easily finding engineering tools, resources, and empowering entertainment. Some of the top features include:

This program aims to help over 30 female-identifying high school students discover their STEM identity, provide them with diverse STEM role models, and expose them to various engineering educational and career paths. Mentors, speakers, and event support volunteers are needed. Due to the resignation of SWE Detroit President-elect Cheryl Teo, the SWE Detroit Nominating Committee is seeking nominations to fill her vacancy on the SWE Detroit Executive Council. This position is for the remainder of Cheryl's term as President-elect in FY22 which will run from September 13, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and will transition into the role of President in FY23 which will run from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. This position is a 2-year commitment. Information on the eligibility, requirements, and responsibilities for the position is outlined within the link here. At SWE, we acknowledge and respect the value of a diverse community.
