Girls’ Engineering Exploration (GEE) is a full day event that allows girls in 4th-8th grade an opportunity to meet female engineers and be exposed to exciting career paths through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities. The girls will be able to experience the creativity, innovation, and fun that goes on in the field of engineering. The event is FREE for students, parents, and teachers!
This year’s GEE is back IN PERSON and outdoors on Saturday, June 4th. We hope you can join us at the kick-off meeting to find out about all of the ways you can be involved in this amazing and rewarding event! The GEE committee chairs (Sabrina Ridenour, Sam Poeppelman, and Sheila DeLapp) can be reached at SWEDetroitGEE@gmail.com with any questions or if you cannot attend but would like to be involved.
