What: Maker Girl Mania is a day where over 600 girls from Kindergarten - 7th grade come together and become artists, coders, inventors, makers, and builders. Join SWE Detroit as we host a booth and help girls design and test popsicle stick catapults. Volunteers will help facilitate the popsicle stick catapult activity at the SWE Detroit booth. Instructions and talking points will be provided. Snacks will also be provided by the event coordinators.

When: Saturday, May 18th, 2019
Time: Three time-slots available, sign-up for one or more: 8:00 am - 10:30 am, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm, and 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Maker Girl Mania is designed in 3 waves with a 30-minute break between to allow us to restock, retrain volunteers and grab some food and snacks provided by the event.
