Girls’ Engineering Exploration (GEE) is a full day event that allows girls in 4th-8th grade an opportunity to meet female engineers and be exposed to exciting career paths through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities. The girls will be able to experience the creativity, innovation, and fun that goes on in the field of engineering. The event is FREE for registered students, parents, and teachers! (Registration to be advertised to schools in the coming weeks).
This year’s GEE is back IN PERSON and outdoors on Saturday, June 4th at Wayne State University. The GEE committee chairs (Sabrina Ridenour, Sam Poeppelman, and Sheila DeLapp) can be reached at SWEDetroitGEE@gmail.com with any questions.
